Dr. Akshay Kumar completed his MBBS from T.N. Medical College, Mumbai, followed by MS in General Surgery at KEM Hospital. He trained in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery at LTMG Hospital and pursued advanced fellowships at leading universities in the United States in pediatric cardiac surgery, ECMO, mechanical circulatory support, and heart & lung transplantation.
Over the last 15 years he has performed more than 10,000 surgical procedures, including high-risk cardiac surgeries on patients with severe organ dysfunction.
